Greetings Math Students,

Welcome to the new Unit 6:  Fractions

Great kick off today looking at Unit Fractions (remember that is any fraction with a 1 in the top number, numerator, examples would be 1/2, 1/4, 1/10)

Here is the Math Antics video we used in class today for extra help:

The homework is pages 129 and 130 for all groups due on Tuesday.

*Check Mrs. Fiore and Mrs. Braymer's notes for Tuesday and Wednesday since we won't switch again till Thursday.

Take care.

Greetings Math Students,

Here is the homework for a Tuesday:

All groups pages 121 and 122
*Please make sure you are also taking home your hard cover Math book, there are so many great charts and helps to remember our conversions.  I had multiple students tell me that last night's homework was tough because they couldn't remember how many feet were in a mile, but there is a chart right in the book that shows it!!!

***PLUS IT WAS ON LAST NIGHT'S BLOG!

Check out our latest cheat sheet when working with Customary units of weight and mass.

Take care.

Greetings Math Students,

Here is the work for a Monday:

Math:

*Just started the new unit today (but only got 1/2 the lesson in due to good questions off the Unit 4 test).  The homework for all groups is pages 113 and 114 in the NEW H and R book.  (Don't do 9-14, we'll cover those in class tomorrow!)

*Unit 4 tests need to go home and be returned signed by parents/guardians!  Good tests.  Lots of good scores.  We learned from our mistakes.  Re-tests will take place this week Wednesday!

Keep up the great work,

MR. K
