Here is the homework for a Tuesday night:

Math:  (due to a testing schedule change our groups are a bit off, so different homework for different groups)

Mango and Papaya:

H and R pages 105 and 106
*Remember...with the story problems, solve first, then do equations...then again...I think tonight it just says SOLVE!

Kiwi:  only page 104.
*Try the stretch your thinking and think of a shopping problem since it involves $$$

Unit 4 Test will be Tuesday, February 2

Greetings Math Students,

Here is the homework for a Wednesday night:

pages 101 and 102 for all groups.

Please take it slow.  I encouraged my class to make sure to try to VISUALIZE the story in your head!  Draw pictures when necessary!

Give your best efforts.  Story problems can be intimidating, but they are JUST PRACTICE.  No tears allowed!  Stay calm, stay cool, and roll up those sleeves and give your best efforts.  We'll talk about them tomorrow!

Greetings Math Students,

Here is the Math homework for a Thursday...We're back to normal:

Math:  *all groups pages 89 and 90

Brand new Math Unit today.  We began some simple Algebra.

For the most part we are simply looking at finding the missing part.  There are a bunch of practice problems on page 89.  Most of them are pretty simple, but a couple could cause confusion.  Give your best effort on them, and come ready to ask questions tomorrow!

We're excited to try something completely new!
